Lady Eagle Basketball All-Decade Team Announced

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The fans have spoken, and the Southern Miss Women's Basketball All-Decade Team was announced Friday. Tamara Jones (2013-15) earned the distinction as the leading vote-getter.
Eligibility criteria included student-athletes who appeared in any games of the previous decade and who also finished their careers as Lady Eagles.

Brittanny Dinkins (2013-17)
- Ranks third in school history with 162 three-pointers and first in games played and started (134 each)
- Had 32 points and 10 steals against Old Dominion in 2017, one of two double-doubles in school history involving steals
- First-Team All-Conference USA as a senior and the league's Defensive Player of the Year
- Finished with 1,479 points (11.0 per game) to rank 10th in program history
- Three-time First-Team All-Conference selection, as well as All-Freshman Team
- Finalist for Nancy Lieberman Award, given to the nation's top point guard
- Program's only C Spire Gillom Trophy winner
- Averaged 16.2 ppg and totaled 2,056 for her career, ranking third in school history
- Holds several single-game, season and career records in Lady Eagle history
- Finished with 1,264 points, ranking 15th in school history
- Also No. 7 for assists (444), three-pointers (355) and percentage (35.8)
- C-USA All-Freshman Team in 2017 and earned First-Team honors as a junior
- Had two, 30-point games in her career, including 33 against LA Tech as a junior
- Scored 1,057 points in her two seasons, which currently ranks 23rd at the school, to become one of three to reach 1,000 in two years
- Collected 40-point double-doubles against Little Rock and Tulsa, also had 30 points, 11 rebounds at LA Tech
- C-USA Newcomer of the Year in 2014; First-Team honoree in 2015
- C-USA All-Tournament Team in 2015 run to championship game
- Owns school record for double-doubles in a season (21, senior) and career (60)
- Averaged 12.8 rebounds as a senior, one-tenth from the school record
- Ranks seventh in career scoring with 1,576 points (16.6 per game) and is one of three to reach 1,000 in second season
- Three-time, C-USA First-Team honoree after transferring from Jones JC
- Served as an assistant coach from 2013-17
