Kylie Grandy Named to 2020 U.S. Beach Collegiate National Team

Grandy, a graduate student, was one of 29 women named to the team. Players were nominated to the team by their coaches and selected based on their collegiate rankings. CCSA rival LSU led all programs with seven members being placed on the national team. Training plans for the team are currently on hold due to COVID-19.
The head coach for the women's team is 1996 Olympian Barbra Fontana. She will be assisted by Hector Gutierrez (TCU) and Russell Brock (LSU).
Paired with Abbey Wilson at the top pairing for the Golden Eagles this season, the duo posted a 5-2 record before it was cut short. In 2019, Grandy and Wilson became the first Southern Miss pair to record a win at the CCSA Conference Championship. The pair defeated No. 11 South Carolina's top pair via a 21-16, 21-16 sweep.
