Southern Miss Opens Season with Lady Eagle Classic

The Southern Miss women's basketball season gets underway with the Lady Eagle Classic on Friday at 2 p.m. against Alabama A&M in Reed Green Coliseum. The Black and Gold will also welcome Troy and Southeastern Louisiana for the 33rd installment of the Thanksgiving tournament. Â
The entire schedule of the tournament is as follows:
Friday, Nov. 27
3 p.m. – Southern Miss vs. Alabama A&M
6 p.m. – Southeastern Louisiana (home) vs. Troy (away)
Saturday, Nov. 28
2 p.m. – Troy (home) vs. Alabama A&M (away)Â
5 p.m. – Southern Miss vs. Southeastern LouisianaÂ
The matchups will be broadcast on CUSA.tv. Jason Baker will be on the call for the Southern Miss Radio Network, broadcast on 92.7 the Score and presented by Learfield IMG College.Â
Per Conference USA regulations, Reed Green Coliseum's capacity will be limited to 1,200 fans. A limited number of single game tickets will be made available for each home game. Single game tickets will be made available online only, beginning on Monday, November 23rd at 8:00 am. However, the best way to guarantee a ticket to each home game this season is by having season tickets! Season tickets start at just $55. Â

Additional measures that will be implemented on campus and in Reed Green will include:Â
- Digital/contactless ticketing will be the primary ticket delivery method, unless physical tickets are requestedÂ
- Hand sanitizer stations at entrances and throughout the entire arenaÂ
- Social distancing measures while in the concourses, concession stand and restroom linesÂ
- Increased cashless only concession and merchandise stands; limited cash stands will still be availableÂ
- Several food and safety protocols for concession stands and employeesÂ
- Mandatory face coverings at all times while in the arena. Fans must wear face coverings to enter arena, while in transit throughout arena, and while seated.Â
