Women's Golf Finalizes Recruiting Class with Tenley Moretti

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss head women's golf coach Lucy Nunn has announced Tenley Moretti as the third newcomer for the 2019-20 season.
Moretti, a native of Ankeny, Iowa, originally signed with Iowa State in Fall 2018. She appeared in two tournaments as a freshman, competing in the UCF Challenge and Lady Puerto Rico Classic this spring. The Cyclones ended the year ranked No. 41 by Golfweek. The squad made its 10th-straight NCAA appearance and earned WGCA's Kim Moore Spirit Award, given annually to an athlete or team that went through significant challenges during a season.
"Tenley has all of the makings to help push this program forward," Nunn said. "From her passion and drive, both on and off the golf course, we are incredibly excited to be a part of her continued journey."
Moretti joins Maria Toledo Bailey (Birmingham, England) and Ashlie Hobbs (Trenerbert, Wales) on the upcoming roster.Â
