Southern Miss Baseball to Hold Selection Monday Party at Walk-On's

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Fresh off its third C-USA Tournament title in the last four years, the Southern Miss baseball team welcomes all its fans to Walk-On's (440 Hardy Street) on Monday for ESPN's 11 a.m. CT selection show.

Southern Miss (38-19) will be making its 16th NCAA appearance. It hosted in 2017 while going to Florida State in 2016 and Arkansas this past season.

The Golden Eagles began tourney play with a 6-4 win over Rice in 10 innings (after trailing 4-1 and down to its last strike). They carried the momentum into a 10-5 win over Marshall, a 6-0, combined no-hitter over the Owls in the semifinals, and then a 4-0 victory over FAU for the title.

Regional hosts will be announced tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT on NCAA.com and its social media platforms.
