John Warren Named Male Field Performer of the Meet for C-USA Championship

The senior earns the award for the second year in a row from the Conference.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – John Warren has earned his second-consecutive Male Field Performer of the Meet title from Conference USA, announced late Friday afternoon.

Warren, a senior, earned himself a gold and silver medal at the 2019 C-USA Outdoor Championships. He won the triple jump with a mark of 52'6.5" and placed second in the long jump with a mark of 24'9.25".

The Performer of the Meet accolades from Conference USA are voted on by all head coaches in the conference. This is Warren's second time winning the award, as he earned it in 2018 after he had a personal-best long jump of 25'7.25", earning himself a bronze, and had a triple jump mark of 53'10.25", earning himself gold.

Warren has qualified for the NCAA East Regional Preliminary meet with his season-best jumps of 53'4.25" in the triple jump, ranking him third in the region, and a season-best long jump of 25'9.25", ranking him 38th in the region.
