Southern Miss Shuts Out Prairie View A&M on Senior Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss men's tennis team was smooth in all facets of Friday's Senior Day match against Prairie View A&M, earning sweeps in all four singles decisions to post a 4-0 victory.
Coaches and staff were on hand for pre-match ceremonies to honor Jorman Reyes, Youssef Tamimount and Teeradon Tortrakul.
There was a mutual agreement to not play doubles. Jorman Reyes improved to a team-best 8-2 in singles, including his fourth-straight victory. Chung-Han Tsai jumped to 7-3. Panji Setiawan went to 4-4 on the year, while Mieszko Kwasniewski earned his third victory.
Six of the team's eight wins this year have been shutouts, including each of the last four. Southern Miss is now 37-8 at home the last four years. It was also the fourth-straight year the squad won its Senior Day.
The Golden Eagles (8-6) now get to embark on a three-day tour (April 5-7) in the C-USA Showcase in Houston against Rice, UTSA and UAB.
