Southern Miss Men’s Golf Returns to Action in 34th Annual Louisiana Classics

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action this week when they travel to Lafayette, La., to compete in the 34th annual Louisiana Classics to be held at Oakbourne Country Club.
The 15-team field plays on the 6,866-yard, par 72 course with 36 holes continuous holes on Monday starting at 8 a.m., with 18 final holes beginning at 8 a.m., Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles are set to use the lineup of Walker Kesterson, Matt Lorenz, Joey Kirkland, Brian Richards and Derick Kelting in the tournament.
Joining Southern Miss in the event will include host Louisiana-Lafayette, Illinois, Kent State, North Texas, UTSA, Sam Houston State, UMKC, Louisiana Tech, Texas State, Rice, McNeese State, Oral Roberts, Wichita State and Toledo.
