Men's Tennis Falls to No. 20 LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The No. 20 LSU Tigers were too much for the Southern Miss men's tennis team on Saturday morning, taking a 7-0 decision.
Tom Cecchetto made the largest impact of the day, taking No. 112 Shane Monroe to a tiebreaker in the second set on No. 1 singles.
Jorman Reyes had a different doubles partner for the first time this season with Ronit Bisht not seeing action on the day. Reyes also had a solid outing against his opponent, making it to 7-5 in No. 3 singles, while Panji Setiawan and Matthieu Peres were also in a tight battle on No. 3 doubles before time ran out.
Southern Miss will now look to rebound at Nicholls on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. CT.
