Southern Miss Men’s Golf Travels to Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action Monday and Tuesday when they travel to play in the 54-hole Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate.
The event will take place at the par 72, 7,212-yard Roberts Trent Jones Magnolia Grove course with 36 holes taking place on Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. The event finishes with 18 holes Tuesday with play getting started at 8 a.m.
The Golden Eagles, which opened the spring portion of their season earlier this month with a team championship in the 18-hole La Tour Collegiate Challenge, are one of 15 schools to complete in the field and also includes Florida State, Kennesaw State, Louisville, host South Alabama, Illinois State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Lafayette, WKU, Oral Roberts, Richmond, Texas State, Abilene Christian, Nicholls State and North Alabama.
Southern Miss will field the team of Brian Richards, Walker Kesterson, Matt Lorenz, Joey Kirkland and Hunter Atkins.
