C-USA Releases Final Conference Game Matchups for Women’s Basketball

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's basketball team has received its final four matchups of the league slate, announced by Conference USA early Friday afternoon.
The final four games have been released by C-USA. The format is new to women's basketball this season after being voted on by the athletic directors of all league schools as well as the Conference Board of Directors. The 18-game slate is similar to what men's basketball also recently moved to, with considerations such as competitive matchups and geographical locations. The hope is that the four additional games may increase the likelihood of postseason play for Conference USA programs.
"Challenges await us. We are preparing daily to improve to compete in a great conference," said Southern Miss women's basketball coach Joye Lee-McNelis. "Our last four games will be exciting as we all will be in the final round of the 2019-20 season."
