Men’s Golf Back in Action at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action when they travel to West Virginia for the two-day, 54-hole Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational taking place at the par-72, 7,308-yard Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va.

Play starts at 7:30 a.m. CT Monday morning with a shotgun start with 36 holes schedule for the opening day. The tournament concludes with 18 more holes slated for Tuesday with tee times starting at 7 a.m. CT.

The field includes host and No. 25 West Virginia, along with Washington State, UConn, Southern Miss, Florida Atlantic, Rice, Davidson, Akron, James Madison, Eastern Michigan, George Washington, Youngstown State, Marshall, Towson and Xavier.

This will be the third tournament for the Golden Eagles this fall. Southern Miss will go with the lineup of Brice Wilkinson, Walker Kesterson, Robbie Latter, Thongpipat Rattanayanon and Hunter Atkins.
