VAIL, Colo. -- The Golden Eagles improved their Day Two score by 13 strokes to reach No. 15 on the leaderboard heading into the final day of the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
This also comes on the heels of a 17-stroke improvement from the first-to-second rounds of the USA Intercollegiate the previous week.
Henriette Syr was the team's top performer with a 2-under 70 on the day, collecting five birdies, as she moved into a tie for the No. 40 spot. It marked a 12-stroke improvement for the redshirt-junior, playing in just her second tournament since Spring 2017.
Cassidy Evreniadis and Miranda Holt also held steady with 4-over 76s. The two improved their strokes by five and nine, respectively.
The largest movers of the field were UC Riverside (up five spots) and Virginia Tech (down five spots).
The final round will tee off Wednesday morning, with live stats available on Golfstat.com.
