Baseball Heads to Fayetteville Regional for NCAA Tournament

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - On the heels of winning their first double Conference USA championships with a regular-season and tournament crown since 2003, the Southern Miss baseball team learned its postseason fate Monday morning with the announcement on the NCAA Selection Show.
The Golden Eagles will be the No. 2 seed at the Fayetteville Regional on the campus of the University of Arkansas. The host Razorbacks (39-18) are the No. 1 seed and fifth-seed nationally, while Oral Roberts (38-18) is the No. 4 seed. Southern Miss will play No. 3 seed Dallas Baptist (40-19) at Baum Stadium.
Arkansas is scheduled to play the day game against Oral Roberts at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, June 1, while No. 2 seed Southern Miss will face off against No. 3 Dallas Baptist at 7 p.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles (43-16) return to the NCAA Tournament for the 15th time after winning its fifth C-USA regular-season championship and fourth league tournament title, which was completed with a 12-3 victory over Florida Atlantic in the final, Sunday, at MGM Park in Biloxi, Miss.
A limited number of tickets will be available to Southern Miss Baseball Season Ticket Holders and Eagle Club Members as we are only guaranteed 200 tickets for each of our games. The Southern Miss Ticket Office will take ticket requests on Tuesday, May 29 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. from Circle of Champion Members and Season Ticket Holders. Each of those individuals are eligible to request up to 4 tickets and orders will be fulfilled based on Eagle Club priority and ticket availability.
