Nichada Satasuk Earns All-Conference Distinction

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss women's golf Nichada Satasuk was named third team All-Conference USA for her success on the golf course during the 2017-2018 season.
Satasuk, hailing from Chiangmai, Thailand, led the team with a 74.37 scoring average and played in all 10 tournaments that the Golden Eagles participated in this season. The senior collected two top 10 finishes in her final season, ninth at the Lady Paladin Invitational and sixth at the 40th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational, and five top 25 finishes. She fired a career-low round of four-under 68 during the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational and added nine other under-par rounds throughout the year, compiling 21 for during her time at Southern Miss.
The Seminole State Community College transfer gathered a team-best 304 Pars, 66 Birdies and two Eagles during the year's campaign and leaves Southern Miss as the program record holder for below-par rounds in a career (21) and a single season (11, set during the 2016-2017 season) and lowest 54-hole total (five-under 216, 2017 Kiawah Island Intercollegiate). This is her second all-conference award.
