Warren Collects Field Athlete of the Week Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss men's field athlete, John Warren, collected another weekly award announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
The junior finished first overall for the Golden Eagles at the Crimson Tide Invite in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.61m (51'2.75") in a field of men from nationally-ranked No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Mississippi State along with Memphis, Oklahoma, Louisville and Clemson.
Warren's mark maintains his lead in C-USA and moves him to 18th in the nation. It also was a new Crimson Tide Invite meet record that was previously held by Craig Stevens Jr that was an Alabama jumper. This honor is the fourth straight for Southern Miss and Warren's first of his outdoor season.
