
Men's Tennis Earn 10th Home Win

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Men's Tennis earned it 10th home win of the season after beating DePaul 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles extended its win streak to four matches with Thursday's win and were one match away from earning its sixth sweep of the season.
Chung Han Tsai and Wen-Po Tseng won its 11th match in doubles play on court after a 6-2 win. The dup have won three of its last fives matches. Daniel Merker and Jorman Reyes earned their fifth doubles win to clinch the doubles point for Southern Miss.
Teeradon Totrakul won the first singles match for Southern Miss to make it 2-0 on court 2 with a 6-4, 6-3 finish. Reyes is now 12-2 on the season with his win on court 5. Reyes won the first set easy with a 6-1 win but dropped the second to force the third set. Reyes won 6-1, 3-6, 6-1.
Tsai clinched the match on court 3 with a 6-4, 6-3 win, his ninth win of the season.
Tseng remains unbeaten after a 7-5, 6-4 win on court 4. Tseng is now 11-0 on the season.
Cechhetto made the math 6-0 with a win on court 1 and Mikhail Esipov dropped his match on 6 to give the Demons its lone win of the match.
Southern Miss imporved to 13-3 on the season and travels to San Antonio next week for the C-USA Showcase.
