Southern Miss Prepares for Lone Star Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is in San Antonio, Texas for the March 29-20 Lone Star Invitational. This is the first time the Golden Eagles have played in Texas since March of last year.
Nathan Corchis, Matt Codd, Matt Lorenz, Derick Kelting and Walker Kesterson will go up against golfers from Arkansas State, Kansas, Little Rock, Louisiana, LA Tech, McNeese State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oklahoma, Rice, Texas State, ULM, UTEP and UTSA at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course.
Tomorrow's play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start on the 7,247 yard, par 72 course. The pairings will be different from previous tournaments and the groups will be made of players from one school instead of the usual three school assemblages.
