
Southern Miss in Second Place heading into FIU Pat Bradley's final round

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- UTEP's 1-under 287 allowed it to break a first-place tie with Southern Miss on Tuesday, heading into the final day of the 41st-annual FIU Pat Bradley.
The Miners now lead with a 1-over 577, as the Golden Eagles trail by four strokes (5-over 581). South Florida and FIU trail Southern Miss by one and four strokes, respectively.
Cassidy Evreniadis had the best day for the squad, carding a 1-under 71 to sit in seventh place. Valentina Haupt maintained her No. 3 spot with an even-72.
Julie Baker also improved three strokes from Day One. Evreniadis and Henriette Syr each tallied three birdies, with the latter doing it in consecutive fashion on Holes 10-12.
Ten of the course's 18 holes are par-4s, and the Golden Eagles have fired a tournament-best 14-over on such stages.
Gonzaga's Quynn Duong shot a 5-under 67 to take the individual lead at 4-under 140.
