Getting to Know the 2017-18 Lady Eagles: Kyle Felton

HATTIESBURG, Miss â€" Junior transfer Kyle Felton decided to come to Southern Miss because of the family atmosphere and influence from Petal, Miss native Hanah Lott.
"My sophomore year, when I transferred to Jones, Hanah was there with me," Felton said. "She influenced me to come checkout the program and I just fell in love with the family atmosphere. It was very home like for me and I really saw how I could grow into a better woman here."'
Felton appeared in all 32 games for the Bobcats last season, including playing in the NJCAA Elite Eight game against Salt Lake Community College. She averaged 4.7 points per game on .438 percent shooting in 13.2 minutes per game on the year.
The Lithonia, Ga. native also played for a year at Southeastern Louisiana during the 2015-16 season. She averaged 4 points and 3.7 rebounds a game and played in 23 total games.
