Kelly Erasmus Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

HATTIESBURG, Miss -- Kelly Erasmus was named to the 2017 InTouch Credit Union C-USA Women's Golf All-Academic team.
Erasmus, an Entertainment Industry major and a Criminal Justice minor, holds a 3.655 GPA. She joins Sandra Sholberg as the only Southern Miss golfers to earn this honor.
The senior has played in every tournament this season and finished as a runner-up at the 2016 Golden Eagle Jam. Her total score of 213 (-3) is the third lowest 54-hole total in program history and her third round score of 68 (-4) is the second lowest round in program history.
The Cape Town, South Africa native has four top-10 finishes on the year, the second best season stroke average in program history (74.56) and has holed the most birdies in a season by any Southern Miss golfer (79).
Erasmus owns two of the program's lowest 54-hole tournament totals, has been named to the Dean's list twice and is a three time AD Honor Roll member.
