Men's Tennis Host C-USA Showcase

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss men's tennis will play host to the Conference USA Showcase March 10 -- 12 at the Southern Miss Tennis Facility.
Southern Miss will host Rice, UAB and UTSA. Action begins on Friday with the Golden Eagles playing UTSA and Rice playing UAB both at 2 p.m.
The Golden Eagles then take on Rice Saturday and UAB on Sunday to close out the tournament. All matches will start at 2 p.m.
Jorman Reyes and Chao-Yu Huang lead the Golden Eagles with 10 and nine wins respectively in singles play. Reyes continues his undefeated season securing two wins at the No. 4 and 5 spots against Mississippi Valley State.
Huang's only loss of the season came against South Alabama. Huang enters the Shootout on a seven-match win streak.
The Roadrunners enter Friday's match 3-9 after a 4-2 win against UT-Rio Grande Valley. Friday's match is the first conference matchup for the Golden Eagles this season. Following the shootout, the Golden Eagles will play only one more conference opponent before C-USA Championships.
