Cross Country Golden Eagles Land on All-Academic Team

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --The Southern Miss women's cross country team was one of 217 women's programs that earned All-Academic Team honors by named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Golden Eagles posted a 3.533 GPA to receive this honor.

In total 206 women's cross country programs were recognized. Programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.00 or greater to qualify for the award.

Other Conference USA teams to garnish the award are Rice, Charlotte, North Texas, UTSA, and Western Kentucky.
