Golden Eagles Finish Battle at the Bayou

LAFAYETTE, La.- Southern Miss men's tennis team finished the Battle at the Bayou with strong numbers.
Wen-Po Tseng and Teeradon Tortrakul made it to the second round of the doubles consolation draw and faced Albuquerque and Hsu from New Orleans. Tseng and Tortrakul battled in doubles and beat the duo 7-6 in doubles action on the final day.
Tseng made it to the first round of the consolation draw and faced Akinshemoyin and lost 16-13 in a tight singles round of competition.
Jorman Reyes made it to the Semis of the consolation round to compete against Adoncecchi of New Orleans. Reyes finished the final round of the Battle of the Bayou tournament strong for the Golden Eagles and won his matches 7-2,6-2.
The Golden Eagles continue competition this Thursday, Oct. 14th, at the ITA Regionals in Auburn , Ala.
