Golden Eagle Track & Field To Host Southern Miss Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss track and field teams will host the Southern Miss Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Southern Miss Track and Field and Soccer Complex.
The two-day event begins on Friday at 3 p.m. with the men's and women's triple jump followed by the men's and women's hammer beginning at 3:30. Saturday events begin at 10 a.m. with the women's javelin. The running events begin at 1 p.m with the women's 5000 meters.
Fourteen men's and women's teams will compete. The List include Hinds Community College, Kennesaw State, Meridian Community College, Mississippi State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Southern-NO, Spring Hill, Stillman, Troy, Tulane, West Alabama, West Florida and Xavier-NO.
This is the first home meet this season for the Golden Eagles.
