Women's Golf in 10th-Place at Bearcat Spring Classic

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The Southern Miss women's golf team is in 10th-place after one round of the Bearcat Spring Classic, hosted by Cincinnati. The tournament is being played at the par-72, 6,225-yard Los Colinas Golf Course.
The Lady Eagles shot a 318 to sit 30-over par, one shot behind Central Arkansas.
Sophomore Devon Spriddle is tied for 10th-place. She is five-over par after shooting a 77. Freshman Belen Abrile is tied for 19th-place at six-over par after carding a 78.
Junior Jennifer Nguyen is tied for 37th-place after shooting an 80 to sit eight-over par. Sophomore Emily Ross is 11-over par, tied for 67th-place after posting an 83 and junior MacKenzie Kelly is tied for 91st-place at 17-over par after carding an 89.
Memphis leads the team competition at 10-over par, five strokes in front of North Dakota State.
Memphis' Emily Goldenstein is two-under par to lead the individual tournament, two shots ahead of Bradley's Danielle Lemek and North Dakota State's Alex Scmid.
