Emily Ross Has Career Day at Lady Paladin Invitational

Greenville, S.C. - Sophomore Emily Ross had a career day at the Lady Paladin Invitational, hosted by Furman and played at the par-72, 6,266-yard Furman University Golf Course.
The Diamondhead, Miss., native tied a career-low with a 76. She also shot a 76 in the final round of last year's Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational. She bettered her career-best 36-hole score, as well, by four strokes, as she sits at 154, 10-over par in a tie for 57th-place.
The Lady Eagles shot a 23-over par 311 to sit 60-over par.
Sophomore Devon Spriddle leads Southern Miss at nine-over par after posting a 77 to sit in a 53rd-place tie.
Freshman Belen Abrile, playing in her first collegiate tournament, is 16-over par in a tie for 80th-place after carding a 77. Senior Jennifer Nguyen is tied for 94th-place at 25-over par and freshman Nicola Callander is in 96th-place at 27-over after shooting rounds of 81 and 83, respectively.
Furman leads the team competition at two-under par. Wake Forest and Texas Tech are nine shots back, tied for second-place.
Furman's Taylor Totland is six-under par to lead the individual tournament, one-shot in front of Wake Forest's Sierra Sims and Jennifer Peng of Yale.
