Men's Golf in 15th-Place at Old Waverly Collegiate

West Point, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is in 15th-place after one round of the Old Waverly Collegiate. The tournament is hosted by Mississippi State and is being played at the par-71, 7,088 Old Waverly Golf Club.
Play was suspended during the second round due to darkness
The Golden Eagles are 17-over par after shooting a 305, three shots behind Troy.
Senior Trent Hillis is tied for 34th-place at two-over par after carding a 74. Senior Kevin Brady is tied for 43rd-place at three-over par after posting a 75.
Junior Drew Kirby and sophomore Kevin Jorden opened with a six-over 78 to sit in a 66th-place tie and senior Zach Estep is in 78th-place after shooting an 11-over par 83.
Cincinnati leads the tournament at four-under par, two shots ahead of second-place South Alabama. Southeastern Louisiana's Lawrence Allan is four-under par, leading the individual tournament, one shot in front of second-place.
