Golden Eagles in the NFL, Week 17

Eight different former Southern Miss players are currently on rosters during the 2014 season in the National Football League. Here is a quick recap on how they did this past weekend:
Chris Clark, Denver – came off the bench as the Broncos defeated Oakland 47-14 at home in the regular season finale. He saw action in 13 games and made seven starts during the season. (Next Game – Sun. Jan. 11 vs. TBA, 3:40 pm/CBS)
Jamie Collins, New England – tallied five tackles (one solo) to go along with one sack for six yards, a quarterback hit, as well as a forced fumble and fumble recovery despite losing at home to Buffalo, 17-9. Finished the regular season with 110 tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. (Next Game – Sat. Jan. 10 vs. TBA, 3:35 pm/NBC)
Austin Davis, St. Louis – did not play in a 20-6 road loss at Seattle. He finished his season throwing for 2,001 yards in 10 games (eight starts) on 180-of-284 passing with 12 touchdown passes and nine interceptions. (Season Complete)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay – started at left tackle in a 20-3 home loss to Green Bay. Dotson had started at right tackle in the first 13 games this season for the Buccaneers before making the switch to left tackle in the final three contests of the season. Dotson was one of just four Bucs to start in every game during the campaign. (Season Complete)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta – started the first four games of the season before he landed on the injured reserve list with a foot injury and missed the remainder of the season. (Season complete)
Tom Johnson, Minnesota - came off the bench to collect a quarterback hit in a 13-9 home victory over Chicago. Johnson finished the year with 30 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 29 quarterback hits and a forced fumble during this season. (Season complete)
Cordarro Law, San Diego – was inactive in a 19-7 road loss at Kansas City. Law saw action in three games and tallied seven tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and a pass deflection during the year. (Season Complete)
