HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball program will offer a wide array of summer camps beginning in June at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
The camp options for the summer include:
Kids Camp #1 | Register HERE!
Dates: June 11-14
Cost: $165/Camper
Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Registration: begins at 8:15 a.m.
Description: This Camp is for grades 1-8 and will cover fund a.m.entals such as hitting, base running, defensive techniques, primary and secondary positions. The Camp will be limited to the first 100 applicants. Each Camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt.
Summer Showcase Camp #1 | Register HERE!
Date: June 16, 2012
Cost: $155/Camper
Time: 1 p.m. - finished
Registration: begins at 12:00 p.m.
Description: The showcase Camp for grades 9-12 is a great way for players to be evaluated by college coaching staffs. We have numerous college and professional scouts in attendance. Each of the players will be evaluated at their positions. Pitchers who are dual players will be allowed to participate at both positions. Prospects will run the 60, be evaluated at their defensive positions, and hit on the field at Pete Taylor Park. Lunch will not be provided. The Camp will be limited to the first 100 applicants. Each Camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt.

Advanced Hitting Skills Camp | Register HERE!
Dates: June 26-27
Grades: 7-12
Check-In: 8:30 a.m.
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day
Cost: $250 per player
Description: This hitting Camp will have hands-on instructional time with the Southern Miss coaches. The advanced skills that will be taught in the Camp will be advanced hitting skills that are presented to the Southern Miss pitchers every day. Instructions will include video analysis, advanced drill work, on-field hitting, and much more. The spots are only limited to the first 20 applicants.

Dates: July 9-10
Cost: $180/Camper
Grades: 9-12 Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Registration: begins at 8:15 a.m.
Description: This is the second year to offer this Camp for grades 9-12 which covers basic skills at the high school level. Skills include throwing, fielding, primary/secondary positions, along with Team drills. We will also offer offensive sessions that will help players better themselves for their upcoming high school season. The Camp will be limited to the first 60 applicants. Lunch will be provided. Each Camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt.
