HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss baseball coach Scott Berry announced Monday morning that the Tuesday, March 8, home game against South Alabama has been moved up to 3 p.m., citing weather concerns.
The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m., at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field but the weather conditions at that time prompted the move.
Righhanded pitcher Boomer Scarborough (0-0, 5.40 ERA) is expected to make the start on the mound for the Golden Eagles (8-3). South Alabama comes into the action sporting a 7-4 record.
