Three Lady Eagles Earn Conference USA Honors

Washington and Vigers were named third team All-Conference USA while Faulkner was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team.
Washington has started in 27 of 28 games for the Lady Eagles. She leads the team in scoring with 14.6 points and rebounds with 9.1 rebounds per game. She collected 10 double-doubles during the season. Washington finished league play averaging 15.9 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Washington ranks 16th on Southern Miss' all-time scoring list with 1,123 career points. The Clarksville, Miss. Native also ranks 17th on Southern Miss' all-time rebounding list with 588 career rebounds. Washington was named the Sixth Player of the Year as a sophomore.
Vigers played in only 20 games before a broken hand caused her to miss the final nine regular season games of the season. Averaging 33.2 minutes per game, Vigers was leading the team in scoring with 16.9 points. The Baton Rouge, La., native has a 6.7 rebound per game averaging. She leads the team in field goal percentage and free throw percentage. Vigers was named Conference USA Player of the Week once this season.
Faulkner has started all 29 games and averaging 14.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in her rookie season. She has totaled double digit assists in six games. Faulkner became the freshman assists leader with 172 thus far. She collected four double-doubles on the year while scoring a season-high 24 points against Tulane. Faulkner ranks among the freshman leaders in points and assists. She was named Freshman of the Week three times.
