McNelis Suspended One Game by NCAA

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Women's Basketball Coach Joye Lee-McNelis has been suspended for the team's Jan. 2, non-conference game at Louisiana Tech for three NCAA secondary violations.

The violations included a non-qualifier participating in required physical activities, the same non-qualifier being required to attend practice activities and a student-athlete being required to participate in athletically related activities prior to having completed mandated medical testing.

Assistant Coach Jordan Dupuy will serve as acting head coach for the Lady Eagles against the Lady Techsters.
