Men's Tennis Player Comes Up Short in Finals

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Freshman Alex Doleac lost a hard-fought three-set match in the finals of the Palmer's Singles Draw at the Crimson Tide Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon by a score of 6-1, 6-7, 6-4.
Doleac defeated K. C. Griffin of Memphis in three sets Saturday, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2, in advancing to the finals.
Paulo Alvarado lost to Tyler Davis of Notre Dame in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1, while Jan Burmeister dropped his consolation match to Rodrigo Rappaccioli of Tulane in three sets, 3-6, 7-6, 10-7.
Doleac and Alvarado lost their doubles' match, 8-4, to Daniel Moser and Danny Manlow of UAB.
