1. What's your hometown? "West Palm Beach, Fla."
2. Why did you choose Southern Miss? "Because of the environment, coaching staff and players. When I came on my visit, I felt welcomed. It felt like it was a home away from home and that's what I needed because I was going to be a long way from home."
3. What does being a Lady Eagle mean to you? "It's just like a new family being in another family."
4. What has impressed you most about this coaching staff? "How hard they work us."
5. What is your favorite thing about basketball? "Defense."
6. What is the one thing about college life that has surprised you the most? "Before practice started it was the free time. We had a lot of free time."
7. You've been in school for a two months now, how are classes going? "They are going well. Some of them are tough. I have a tutor to help me."
8. How have the coaches helped you with the transition from high school basketball to college? "They just let me know that they are here for me and I can talk to them about whatever."
9. What's your major? "I'm undecided for now."
10. What is your dream job? "To be a professional basketball player."
11. What is your favorite shot on the court? "The elbow."
12. What are you most looking forward to this season? "Just winning, playing as a team and accomplishing all of our goals."
13. How do you think you're going to feel the first time you step out on the floor for your first college game in Reed Green Coliseum? "I know that I'll be nervous. I'm going to play my hardest, but I'll be nervous. It's a whole different level."
14. Has there been any one player who has taken you under their wing to help the transition? "It's been two actually, Tanesha (Washington) and Ashlee (Kelly). They have helped me a lot."
15. Is there a motto you live by each day? "No, not really."
16. What is your biggest fear? "God."
17. What are your thoughts about playing in Conference USA? "It's a good conference. It's a mid-major, but there are some tough teams and tough players in each conference. I'm looking forward to playing those teams."
18. What most impresses you most about Coach McNelis? "She's always fired up. No matter what, she's always in a good mood. She's always happy."
19. Do you have a hidden talent? "I like to make music."
20. What is something most people don't know about you? "I was born in Delaware."
