Soccer Falls in Season Finale at UCF, 6-0

ORLANDO - The Southern Miss soccer team ended their 2010 season with a 6-0 loss at Central Florida Friday evening where the Knights clinched their second consecutive C-USA Championship.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2010 season with a 3-14-2 record and 0-10-1 in C-USA play.
No. 18 UCF (13-3-3, 8-1-2 C-USA) started the scoring just the fourth minute and never really let up, adding goals in the 14th, 26th and 40th minutes to take a 4-0 lead into the half.
The Knights added two second half goals in the 74th and 81st minutes to cap the scoring.
Southern Miss managed only six shots in the match to UCF's 33, including 14 on frame. The Knights forced six corner kicks in the game, scoring on one of them, while the Golden Eagles did not manage a corner in the game.
