HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announced Tuesday afternoon that the school has exhausted its ticket allotment of 700 for each of its sessions at the College World Series.
After allocating tickets to the coaches, players and staff, to university contractual obligations and travel party, Southern Miss had less than 500 tickets which were used for Eagle Club members.
The ticket office received requests for over 1,000 tickets for the school's first trip to Omaha for the College World Series.
For those fans who requested tickets, they will be informed over the next 24 hours on the status of their request. For those individuals who are receiving tickets, they will be charged at the completion of the event.
For those individuals that did not get tickets through the Southern Miss Athletic Ticket Office, they are encouraged to follow the Golden Eagles to Omaha as tickets are still available for individual sessions. Visit CWSOmaha.com for more information about tickets for the event.
