Steve Wilson Misses Cut at The Masters

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Former Southern Miss golfer Steve Wilson missed the cut at The Masters in Augusta, Ga., Thursday, after shooting a three-over-par 75 in the second round to finish 10-over par.

Wilson qualified for the event by winning the 2008 US Mid-Amateur, defeating Todd Mitchell 5 and 4 in the 36-hole championship match at Milwaukee Country Club in River Hills, Wis.

Wilson was the first-ever Golden Eagle to participate in The Masters.
