Unfinished Business... episode 2: Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening "Love"ly readers... I feel like it's been ages since last we spoke. If you remember from our last meeting we all were enjoying the sweet taste of victory (South Alabama)... but as we all know, it is a short trip from the penthouse to the outhouse. For those of you who followed our travels...to Southeast Missouri State and Michigan, you've learned that the agony of defeat is very bitter. The difficulty of playing on the road is something that we as a team will have to overcome in order to finish the business that we have started. Hopefully, our next outing will have a different result. I have come to know and understand, throughout my career, that road wins are hard to come by. I also know and feel that it is still early in the season and there is a lot basketball left to be played. After the learning experience of our first two loses of the season, we returned home to the "Green House" to face William Carey University." There is nothing more comforting than the sweet sounds of loyal Lady Eagle basketball supporters. The game, though sluggish in the beginning, ended very positively with a victory. It was exciting for me and for my teammates as we added another victory to the win column of our business at hand. This weekend we host the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic (sponsored by LaQuinta Inn). Our first game will be versus Jackson State... as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Georgia come to town as well.
