Keeping Up With P-Love

Once again, I have to let you guys know... that this week was a great week! We had our first and only exhibition game of the season against The University of Mobile Thursday night. I honestly feel that we had a lot of kinks to work out but as the game progressed, we began to gel offensively and defensively. We communicated, knocked down the easy shots, and most importantly, everybody looked like they were having fun. I think as a team we were all very excited about the opportunity to play against different competition. Hearing the roar of crowd behind me was very refreshing because I've missed the sound of community support and I have been anxious to have that old feeling back. I now know that the Golden Eagle fans, most importantly, our boosters serve as our sixth man during every home game. Something that I found very funny, was the nervous yet excited look of some of my new teammates as they experienced their first college game as a Lady Eagle (especially the freshmen). Overall our first outing was a good one but I know that we have a ways to go. As we begin our journey throughout this season I encourage you all the stay tuned to...UNFINISHED BUSINESS!!!...same Love time...same Love channel...
