Sophomore Wes Carter is tied for 34th with 155 strokes (79-76). Senior Kyle Ramey (82-74) and redshirt sophomore Paul Apyan (80-76) are tied for 41st-place with 156 strokes. Sophomore Alex Park is tied for 47th (76-87) with 157 strokes. Freshman Derek Plucienski, playing as an individual, rounds out the playing field with a tie for 62nd (80-82 - 162).
Louisville leads the team scoring with a nine-over par 585. UT-Chattanooga is eight strokes back with 593 strokes while Mississippi State is in third with 594 strokes. Memphis is in fourth place at 595 strokes, and host South Alabama is in fifth with 602 strokes. Southern Miss had 612 for a sixth place finish.
Eastern Michigan is in seventh at 613. Xavier and South Florida are tied for eighth with 620, followed by Hartford (625), Mercer (631) and Davidson (636).
Mississippi State's Matt Fast leads the individual competition, as he shot a three-over 147. Louisville's Derek Fathauer and Daryl Fathauer are in second and third, respectively, shooting a 144 and 145.
The tournament closes Tuesday morning with the final 18. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start from the No. 1 and No. 10 holes.
