Golden Eagles Arrive in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - The Southern Miss football arrived in the `Big Easy' this afternoon in preparation for Sunday's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
The Golden Eagles left Hattiesburg via charter buses this afternoon and arrived at the host hotel, the New Orleans Hilton Riverside, around 5:00 p.m.
For the final time this season Southern Miss held an on campus workout which lasted for approximately two hours in full pads inside M.M. Roberts Stadium this afternoon before departing for New Orleans. They will return to the practice field tomorrow morning at Tulane University.
The Golden Eagles are scheduled to work out again on Friday and Saturday before Sundays bowl game.
Tickets for the game are still available at $40 for sidelines and $20 for students and can be purchased through the Pat Ferlise Athletic Ticket Office on West 4th St., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., over the phone at 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or online at SouthernMiss.com.
Starting Friday, Southern Miss will open its ticket office in New Orleans at the Hilton Riverside (2 Poydras St.) for ticket sales and will call pickup. The phone number for the ticket office will be 504-586-4661. -southernmiss.com-
