HAMMOND, La. - Freshman Patricio Alvarado lost in the second round of the USA F26 Futures in Hammond, La., Wednesday, losing to No. 6 seed Luis-Maneul Flores (Mexico), 6-7 (7-2), 6-3, 6-4.
Flores, the former Georgia Bulldog who helped lead Georgia to two-straight national titles, was ranked as high as No. 9 last season and currently owns a 493 world ranking.
The Golden Eagles will compete in the Crimson Tide Classic, Oct. 24-26, concluding their fall competition.
