Liburd Places Eighth In the NCAA National Indoor Championship

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- - Senior long jumper Tanika Liburd competed in the NCAA National Indoor Championship, placing eighth out of 16 with a jump of 20'2.50" on Friday. With the eighth-place finish, the Golden Eagles finished the National meet with one point.
With Liburd finishing in the top eight she qualifies for NCAA All-American honors. Liburd is only the second female track and field athlete to compete in the NCAA National Indoor Championship.
