National Anthem for Basketball Set Oct. 22

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Athletics will be holding open tryouts for individuals or groups interested in singing the "Star Spangled Banner" at home men's and women's basketball games for the upcoming 2007-08 season.

The tryouts will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, starting at 6:30 p.m., in Reed Green Coliseum. This will be the only opportunity for individuals or groups interested in performing the National Anthem to tryout.
