Men's Tennis To Compete in Rice Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Men's Tennis team begins spring play today, competing in the 10th Annual Rice University/Downtown Club at the Met Collegiate Indoor Invitational.

Representing the Golden Eagles are sophomore Domajoi Anic and newcomers Diego Machuca, Strate Krestski and Oskar Machuca.

Oskar Machuca is scheduled to play at 12:30 p.m. against Clemson's Gera Boryachinskiy, while his brother, Diego Machuca, is set to meet Baylor's Attila Bucko at 2 p.m.

Anic will play against David Galic from Baylor at 2:30 p.m., and Krestski will see action at 1:30 p.m. against Kevin Fleck from Clemson.

Other schools participating in the weekend tournament are Ohio St., TCU, Clemson, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Baylor, Rice, Texas A&M, Texas-San Antonio and Denver.
