27 Golden Eagle Student-Athletes Receive Degrees

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - - 26 Southern Miss student-athletes graduated with their degrees on Friday, May 12, in Reed Green Coliseum.
Baseball led the way with nine graduating players, including Cole Bassinger, Daniel Best, Eddie Burger, Kevin Coker, Marc Maddox, Scott Massey, Brad Owen, Cliff Russum and Nick Valluzzo.
Football had five graduating players, including John Archie, Adam Hurst, Tom Johnson, Jonathan Palmer and Tyler Patterson. Palmer and Patterson will return for their final season of eligibility in 2006.
Softball had three graduating student-athletes, including Ashley Brenan, Charity Butler and Jessica Huerta. Danny Dennis and Justin Elliot, members of the Golden Eagle men's golf team, also graduated.
Track and Field had two graduating student-athletes, Noah Bryant and Jocelyn Young.
Rounding out the remaining graduating student-athletes, included Jason Forte, men's basketball, Marc-Oliver Lux, men's tennis, Micah Stephens, women's soccer, Leslie Robertson, volleyball, Erica Grant women's basketball and Nikhila Narra, women's tennis.
