The 5-7 freshman guard posted her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds in a 57-55 win UTEP on Friday (1/13), then followed that with a season-high 20 points in a 75-60 win over Tulane on Sunday (1/15), helping Southern Miss win back-to-back games for the first time this season. She pulled a team-high eight rebounds ... For the weekend, Eugene averaged a double-double with 18 points and 11, while shooting 65.2 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the line. Eugene also had three assists and five steals ... Eugene currently leads the team in rebounding at 6.8 boards per game and is fourth on the team in scoring at 9.7 points per game ... In her last five games, Eugene has averaged 14.4 points and 8.2 rebounds and shooting 77.8 percent from the line and 49 percent from the field.
