Golden Eagle Performers Conclude Competition At NCAA Championships

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Southern Miss Golden Eagle track and field performers concluded their competition at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championship in Sacramento, Calif.
Junior Raquel Washington just missed advancing to the finals of the 100-meter hurdles when she posted a time of 12.43 and finishing in a tie for 11th overall. She posted a qualifying time of 13.40 in the preliminaries round to advance to the semifinals.
Tanika Liburd did not advance to the finals of the long jump. She recorded a jump of 19'8.75", finishing 17th overall. Krista Miller posted a mark of 5'8.50" in the high jump and did not advance to the finals.
Junior Conrad Chanove had a throw of 190'2" in the javelin in the qualifying round. He finished 20th overall in the preliminaries.
