?Tulane dominated this game from the beginning to the end,? Head Coach Joye Lee-McNelis said. ?They attacked on the offensive end. Tulane just deflated our balloon. We struggled from the beginning. We couldn?t get any offensive flow and we didn?t defend. We allowed too many offensive rebounds.?
Shannon Stueber led Southern Miss with 18 points and Emer Foley added 14 points. Deondra Carter and Foley pulled down seven rebounds a piece. Tulane?s Lakethia Hampton led all scorers with 23 points while D?Aundra Henry finished the game with a double-double, 14 points and 10 rebounds, just missing a triple-double with eight assists.
